A first-lap notebook for PolyTrack

Choose one official course, such as Summer 1. Drive a reconnaissance lap before judging your speed. Notice the first change of direction and where the next checkpoint sits. After a crash, write down the decision that happened before it: speed, turn timing, or steering correction. A useful note describes one change to test on the next attempt.

Put the note into practice

Open The PolyTrack to choose a course and consult its controls, track previews and import guidance. It is an independent fan site for PolyTrack, the low-poly time-trial racing game by Kodub. The site offers a third-party hosted 0.5.0 player and a directory of 15 official and 15 community tracks. That version is not the latest release.

Try a short session with a single goal. Use a checkpoint reset while learning a section, then restart from the beginning to connect the route. Keep a copy of community codes and check version compatibility rather than assuming every newer map works in this player.
