Terms of Service
Last updated: March 2026
1. Acceptance
By registering for or using Supanote, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Description of Service
Supanote provides a web annotation layer that lets you add notes to web pages. Notes can be public, unlisted, or private. The Chrome extension enables annotation directly in your browser.
3. Your Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate registration information and keep your account secure
- Use the service only for lawful purposes
- Not harass, abuse, defame, or harm others through your notes or behavior
- Not use the service to distribute spam, malware, or illegal content
- Not attempt to bypass security measures, abuse APIs, or overload the system
- Respect intellectual property and not infringe others' rights
4. Content Ownership
You retain ownership of the content you create. By posting public or unlisted notes, you grant Supanote a license to store, display, and distribute that content as necessary to operate the service.
5. Stream Eligibility
For security and quality, notes may appear in the public stream only after you have made at least three public annotations and your account has been approved. This helps reduce abuse and spam.
6. Moderation
We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms or applicable law. We may suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly break the rules. Reporting tools are available for inappropriate content.
7. Service Availability
The service is provided “as is.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice when possible.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Supanote and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Your use of the service is at your own risk.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms. We will notify users of significant changes. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
10. Contact
