Terms of Service
By accessing or using Supanote, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Acceptable Use Policy.
1. Description of Service
Supanote provides an instant, lightweight text and code sharing platform allowing users to store and distribute content via clean, shareable URLs. The service supports anonymous creation, progressive management via tokens, and optional user registration.
Supanote offers a free Community tier and an optional paid Pro subscription with expanded limits and features. Paid plans are described on our pricing page.
2. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree not to use Supanote for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent activities. Strictly prohibited content includes, but is not limited to:
- Malicious Code & Exploits: Distributing malware, ransomware, viruses, worms, keyloggers, or phishing payloads.
- Illegal Content: Content that violates federal, state, or international laws, including child exploitation material or terrorism-related propaganda.
- Non-Consensual Personal Data: "Doxxing", distributing leaked credit card numbers, passwords, or personal identity documents without authorization.
- Abusive Automated Traffic: Attempting to overwhelm, spam, or denial-of-service the platform or bypass rate limits.
- Copyright Infringement: Publishing proprietary source code or materials in violation of third-party intellectual property rights.
3. Ownership & License
You retain full ownership and intellectual property rights in any content you submit to Supanote. By submitting content, you grant Supanote a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license solely to host, cache, display, and transmit that content in order to operate the service.
4. Content Moderation & Takedowns
We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to monitor, review, or remove any content at our sole discretion, without notice, if we believe it violates these Terms or applicable law. Malicious or abusive pastes will be terminated immediately.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
Supanote is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that your notes will never be lost. Users are strongly advised to keep independent backups of all critical data.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Supanote, its maintainers, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your access to or inability to use the service.
7. Paid Plans, Billing & Subscriptions
Supanote Pro is a recurring monthly subscription, currently priced at $9 USD per month. Prices, features, and plan limits may change; we will provide reasonable advance notice before any price increase applies to an existing subscription.
- Payment processor: All payments, invoicing, applicable sales tax, and VAT collection are handled by Polar.sh, which acts as the merchant of record for paid subscriptions. Supanote does not store full credit card numbers or payment credentials on its servers.
- Checkout & renewal: When you subscribe, you are redirected to Polar's secure hosted checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled.
- Cancellation: You may cancel at any time from Settings → Billing & Plan via the Polar Customer Portal. Cancellation stops future charges. Unless required by applicable law, fees already paid are non-refundable and Pro access continues until the end of the current paid billing period.
- Downgrades: When a subscription ends or is not renewed, your account reverts to the free Community tier and Pro-only entitlements may be removed or restricted.
- Failed payments: If a renewal payment fails, Polar may retry billing according to its policies. We may suspend or downgrade Pro access until payment is successfully processed.
- Billing support: For payment receipts, tax invoices, charge disputes, or refund requests, contact Polar through the customer portal or Polar support. For account or feature access issues after payment, contact support@supanote.app.
Payment-related personal data is processed as described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Reporting Abuse
If you discover content on Supanote that violates these terms, please submit an immediate abuse report with the note URL to: abuse@supanote.app.
